The model connects four main principles:

© each model (Developed by Dr. Jakov Nahum) is based on an innovative and ambitious holistic approach, which connects the city’s formal and informal resources, on the one hand, versus interdisciplinary teaching processes of value-based teaching units, academia, community and research.

Parallel processes take place in all fields of knowledge and in all age groups in order to assimilate the skills of the 21st century into practice. The processes take place in all age groups – from early childhood to old age.

The application of the model allows for the intention of personal empowerment, entrepreneurship, social mobility, collaborative learning and mental autonomy for the teacher and the student and is not limited in space and time.

Herzliya Educational system

The education system in Herzliya has been working for years on building an educational, cultural, social and democratic program that focuses on personal excellence and equal opportunities in education, through: Directing its human and material resources to the areas of education, culture, sports and community. This unique educational system that has been constructed over the years, tier upon tier, has produced broad-spectrum graduates, future academics, with independent and critical thinking. These graduates have self-study ability and openness to knowledge and diverse opinions. They possess social sensitivity and perceive themselves as part of a community – lovers of mankind, their people and their country.
